Janine Drew | Donor Development Manager
T: 0151 254 7212
I have had numerous roles within the fundraising team since I joined the charity in 2001. My current role involves developing our donors and supporting those who wish to make significant gifts to the charity. I also work in the area of legacy fundraising, telling people about the importance of leaving gifts in Wills. Set aside all thats 'serious' business, I'm usually one of the first to volunteer for a bag pack, a bucket collection or an opporunity to grab a curly blue wig and cheer on our Roy's Runners!
Liz Legge | Corporate Fundraising Manager
T: 0151 254 7213
I've worked here since 1997 in various roles and am now the Corporate Fundraiser. My role can vary from writing proposals for corporate support, to standing on the street in the pouring rain dressed as Miss Piggy giving clues for a company treasure hunt - great fun!
Dan Halliday | Running Events Fundraiser
T: 0151 254 7217
As the Running Events Fundraiser, I look after our Roy's Runners who take part in all sorts of races, from fun runs to marathons and everything in between. I give our runners the help and advice they need regardless of ability or fitness, to help them enjoy their experience and raise lots of money for the charity at the same time.
Samantha Dorcey | Community Fundraiser
T: 0151 254 7215
My role is to work within community fundraising, so if you're ever thinking about holding your own events - I will be the person you speak to. I love the job because I get to work within the community and meet lots of wonderful people whose generosity, creativity and commitment never fails to amaze me.
Becs Brocken | Challenge & Overseas Events Fundraiser
T: 0151 254 7267
It's my job to find new challenges and help supporters have a once in a lifetime experience, whilst raising thousands of pounds for charity. The challenges include climbing mountains, cycling across countries, rafting down rivers, sliding down waterfalls and jumping out of planes!
Cath Steele | Database Officer
T: 0151 254 7214
I've been with the charity since early 1996 and have worked in many areas of fundraising including payroll giving, corporate and community fundraising and trusts. My main role at the moment is to database support to the fundraising team, which I really love as I get to know about every aspect of our work.
Claire Bainbridge | Database Manager
T: 0151 254 7203
I joined the charity in 1997 and have been the Database Manager since 2006. I'm responsible for managing and analysing our supporter database, targeting appeals and exploring new efficient ways in which to use the database and in administration. That said, this is a fundraising team so you can also catch me donning my massive blue wig, cheering on our runners or shaking a bucket dressed as a bumble bee too!
Debbie Barlow | Trust Fundraiser
T: 0151 254 7220
My role as the Trusts Fundraiser is to generate support from Charitable Trusts and Foundations. This involves lots of research and writing a great quantity of proposals. I can always be found in the quiet corner of the office buried under a mound of books, although my fellow fundraisers are always happy to rescue me to help shake the occasional bucket or two.
Jenny Roberts | Events Fundraising Manager
T: 0151 254 7211
I am the Events Fundraising Manager and I joined the charity in January 2012. I am lucky enough to have the responsiblity of organising exciting and varied events - from sports dinners and golf days to awards evenings and Disney spectaculars! Organising the events is great fun and it's really rewarding to know that every penny we raise can make a difference to peoples lives.
Jenny Lloyd | Individual & In-Memoriam Giving Manager

Sadly lung cancer claims the lives of many, leaving distraught families behind. As the Individual & In-Memoriam Giving Manager, I encourage families to keep the memory of a loved one alive by making donations in their name. I also organise various appeals aiming to pay tribute to lost loved ones. I ensure that we keep our donors, both in memoriam and those who simply share our vision to defeat lung cancer, up to date with our work and ways of getting involved.

Hello, I've worked for the charity since 1998 - that's longer than I've worked with any other organisation. I'm now semi retired and work 2 days each week. I have worked in a number of areas, but since 2005, it's all been about gifts in Wills. Making sure the charity recieves what it is entitled to when people leave something to the charity. The amazing thing is that so many people leave a gift in their Will and the charity has no record of a gift in their lifetime. People's generosity never ceases to amaze and delight me - when we recieve a gift, I ring a loud bell so the whole office can share the joy of knowing that we can spend more on research and support.
