Kirwans Solicitors choose Foundation

Kirwans has chosen The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation as its Charity of the Year partner for 2008.

The Merseyside based solicitors chose to support the Foundation over a number of other worthy causes and they hope to raise at least £5,000 towards the vital work of the charity.

The local firm of solicitors who has offices in Liverpool, Prenton and Moreton, are already planning a number of fundraising activities involving staff and clients. These include dress down days, a golf day, a casino night, dragon boat racing and taking part in local events such as the Liverpool to Chester bike ride and the Liverpool half marathon.

Kirwans’ managing partner, David Kirwan, said “All our staff felt it was important to do their bit to help support a locally-based national charity and particularly one engaged in such a critical cause.

“We at Kirwans are looking forward with immense pride to helping the Foundation make a real difference.”
