The BUPA Great North Run

Would you like to be part of The Great North Run as it celebrates its 28 th Anniversary? This really is the biggest and best ½ marathon in the world and is sure to be a fantastic day not just for runners but for supporters as well. The atmosphere is electric on race day and the support around the track doesn’t stop from the start in Newcastle through to the finish in South Shields!

BUPA Great North Run 2007

t was the first year that the Foundation was able to attend the race and we weren’t disappointed! It was a fantastic day and Roy’s Runners worked so hard. We would like to say a massive thank you to all of the runners and their supporters not only for the effort and determination put in to the event but for raising a wonderful £23,700 for the Foundation.
