A Light of
Death
Ciggies eat your energy,
No good for the likes of me.
Teenagers think that they look boss,
And they don't care or give a toss.
NEVER smoke while you're in bed
It's dangerous, you end up dead.
You wake up for a fag at night,
Which makes a really frightening sight.
Stains your body, fingers too
Smoking's NOT the thing to do.
Unborn children are affected,
Pregnancy and smoking are connected.
Youths start smoking in the street,
Caught by mums and they're dead meat.
Smoking is the thing I hate,
I lost my dad at twenty eight.

Killers on the Loose
Kill you and they
make you stink,
Smoking's not as clever as you think
Attack you, costs you
lots of money,
Gives you Cancer and that's not funny.
Teeth turn yellow,
you get out of control,
Wrinkles your fingers and burns your soul.
Stupid ciggies make
you ill,
But worse of all those ciggies kill.

Death
is a breath away
Smoking's bad, makes you sad
Start to smoke, you must be MAD!!
Do not smoke 'cause it's no joke,
Gives you cancer makes you choke.
Smell of smoke gets on your clothes,
Get lots of Nicotine up your nose.
Spots and zits get on your face,
Rotten teeth, you're a disgrace.
Rancid breath, what a "meff",
Those little monsters lead to death.

In Memory
Smokey Joe and Fagash Lil
Smoked until it made them ill
To the doctors they both went
And to a specialist they were sent
He carried out some nasty
tests
And found the cancer in their chests
Through a mask they had to breathe
It got worse, we knew we'd grieve
Everyone had gathered round
As they were lowered into the ground
I couldn't see through tear streaked lashes
The vicar uttered "from ashes to ashes"
I do not mean to frighten
you
But tobaccoe's kill, you know they do
So give up now or this deadly creeper
Will give you a date with the Grim Reaper

'Smoking's A
Waste of Money'
What's the point of smoking?
Tar doesn't bring much joy.
It's just a waste of money and
It doesn't please this boy.
Smoking is disgusting,
It puts you off your food.
Your clothes begin to reek
Result- an awful mood.
'Coffin nails' are awful
Our world could do without
Packs and packs of twenties,
Please, please throw them out.
The cost of them's collossal
They drain the NHS
But people can't give up on
Their addictions, I guess.
'Fags' give you lung cancer,
Your finger-ends turn brown,
You breath on asthma sufferers,
Your 'dog-ends' are all over town.
Your breath smells like an ashtray,
You can't remove the stench
'Tabs' are quite addictive so,
Discard them, in a trench.
Spend your money wisely,
Reject coughs and sore throats
Your clothes will smell like flowers
(Your trousers, shirts and coats).
Give up the nasty habit and
Do yourself a favour,
Make your life a smokeless zone,
Be determined, never waver.
'Ciggies' aren't for me,
I have far too much sense
People even smoke in bed
The risk of fire's immense.
No, give your 'fags' the elbow,
Kick nicotine into touch,
I'm sure you won't regret it
Willpower doesn't cost that much!

Smoking, cool,
fun and sexy in some peoples opinion. Not in
mine...
I personally think that
smoking should be banned, drugs like cocaine and
cannabis were banned, why not smoking? I could do
without the awful smell of tobacco every time I
pass a smoker.
Not only do smokers pose a
threat of lung cancer to themselves but they also
pose a threat of lung cancer to everyone who
breathes in the smoke that the cigarettes give
off. I don't encounter smokers often, but other
people do and some people who don't smoke have
even died from passive smoking.
Lots of people including
myself think that smoking is a complete waste of
money. An average packet of 20 cigarettes costs
£4.30. That means if you smoke a packet of
cigarettes a day it'll cost about £30.10 for 140
cigarettes per week, £129 for 600 cigarettes per
month and £1569.50 for 7300 cigarettes per year...
that's enough to buy a second-hand car!
So what? Would I rather have
a healthy body and a car, or would I rather have
lung cancer and 7300 cigarettes.
What do you think?
