Smoking,
cool, fun and sexy in some peoples opinion.
Not in mine...
I
personally think that smoking should be
banned, drugs like cocaine and cannabis
were banned, why not smoking? I could do
without the awful smell of tobacco every
time I pass a smoker.
Not
only do smokers pose a threat of lung cancer
to themselves but they also pose a threat
of lung cancer to everyone who breathes
in the smoke that the cigarettes give off.
I don't encounter smokers often, but other
people do and some people who don't smoke
have even died from passive smoking.
Lots
of people including myself think that smoking
is a complete waste of money. An average
packet of 20 cigarettes costs £4.30.
That means if you smoke a packet of cigarettes
a day it'll cost about £30.10 for
140 cigarettes per week, £129 for
600 cigarettes per month and £1569.50
for 7300 cigarettes per year... that's enough
to buy a second-hand car!
So
what? Would I rather have a healthy body
and a car, or would I rather have lung cancer
and 7300 cigarettes.
