I am a health teacher in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. My sixth grade students are currently making "drug awareness" posters (illegal drugs, tobacco, and alcohol). Two of my students were searching the web and found your site. They were very excited about their finding so I let them read some facts to the class. The students reaction to the web site was amazing. They enjoyed the colorful set up, and the web sites goofy but effective organization. Just seeing the site and understanding that other kids do feel strongly about NOT SMOKING was a very positive experience for the students in my class. Thank you.

I started smoking when I was 13, my father bought me 'posh' cigarettes 'cos he thought it would make me love him more!
24 years later I'm stupidly still smoking and desperately want to give up. My 13 year old son, Jake has started smoking and has asthma! He has just finished a course of steroids 'cos his asthma got serious, he could have died.
I am determined to stop smoking, and then I pray that Jake will.

This is the first website I've found that explains the facts so that children can understand them. I'll be using the information and website with my classes.
