Nurse specialists
Lung Cancer Nurse Specialists are registered nurses with a high level of experience in lung cancer patient care.
Most lung cancer nurse specialists are based in cancer treatment units and can offer specialist care and information about lung cancer and different treatment types, as well as advice and support to lung cancer patients and their families.
They usually work in partnership with other nurses, doctors and radiographers, and can access help from other services, such as: social work, district nursing and physiotherapy.
