The information below relates to patients affected by lung cancer. The Insurance Surgery is delighted to offer health cash plans with cover for clients with existing medical conditions. What is a Health Cash Plan? Whatever our age in life or our state of health we all have to pay for, or towards, our everyday medical expenses, such as a trip to the dentists or opticians. We may also need fast access to private treatment for any number of conditions that may relate to your existing medical condition or for something as simple as that 'nagging back pain' or 'old sports injury' which is not necessarily available on-demand through the NHS. A health cash plan is designed to pay for, or at least contribute towards, these costs. |

Pre-existing conditions are fully covered for all benefits including specialist consultations and tests. Most other plans will exclude all cover for pre-existing conditions. The only exclusion for pre-existing conditions is that you are unable to claim the hospital cash benefits, recuperation and home help benefits in the first two years of the policy for that specific, or any related, condition. Claims are settled direct – with most other plans you have to pay for your treatment first then claim the money back leaving you out of pocket until the claim is settled. |

Claims are settled at 100% - most other plans only cover you for a certain percentage of the sum assured therefore you will always have to make some form of contribution yourself. No maximum age limit - there is no maximum joining age for the plan. We believe that these plans offer extremely good value to clients in good health and incredible value to clients with pre-existing conditions.
