After over 40 years of marriage Sheila and Alan sadly passed away within 7 days of each other, Sheila on 31st December 2007 aged 66 and Alan on 6th January 2008 aged 82.

Devoted to each other throughout these 40 years, the family feel that it was entirely appropriate that they stage managed their final ‘Goodbye’ ……. together!

Sheila died very quickly after being diagnosed with lung cancer, and Alan died very quickly after being told that the love of his life had slipped away. All of us who were fortunate enough to know them will remember a loving devoted couple who were great fun, worldly, glamorous, wonderful hosts, successful, entertaining, wise and loyal. Alan and Sheila have family and many good friends all over the UK and through your support of this tribute fund they will continue to make a positive contribution to our world.

Alan and Sheila really loved their family and were brilliant friends and great companions. The hole they have left in our lives is immense and we will love and miss them forever.

Be at peace together, forever…….. your memory lives on through this wonderful charity.
