My dear Mum Jean died 11th July 2006 aged just 60 after a brave 18 month battle with lung cancer.

Mum was the most exceptional lady, bright, generous, funny and loving. She was the most wonderful wife, Mum and Nanny, taken from her family too soon. Never one to complain, to the very end she put everyone else first. Her death has left a huge hole in all our lives.

During her illness she became painfully aware of how underfunded and ignored lung cancer is. This tribute fund goes at least someway to redressing that imbalance and it is most definitely something she would have wanted.
