The Raymond Gill Tribute Fund

My Dad died of lung cancer on Friday 23 rd March 2007, 5 weeks after his diagnosis. 

This picture was taken on his 80 th birthday, 29th August 2006 at LA Fitness in Formby, near where he lived. 

He was a fit and active man.  Even at 80 he was going to the gym three times a week and he was the oldest member there, only 7 months before his death. 

I can’t think of a better way to keep his memory alive than helping The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. 

Dad wanted us to carry on trying to get better treatment for all sufferers of this dreadful disease and we are committed to doing that and to raising funds to help. 

We all miss him, my mum Margaret, Brother Geoff, his grandchildren, friends, family and myself, his daughter, Barbara.
