The Tommy Owen Tribute Fund
|
Tommy was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2005.
 He fought it bravely and sadly lost his courageous battle on the 4th of July 2006 aged just 44.
During his ongoing treatment he maintained his wicked sense of humour and infectious wit, giving strength to those around him.
He was a great character, well known and loved by all who knew him.
He is sadly missed and not a day goes by that his fourteen year old daughter Clare, family and friends, do not think of him.
We feel this is our way of doing something positive after Dad's suffering. |

Tommy would have been 46 on the 28th March. He shared his birthday with our older sister, Linda, who is also sadly no longer with us. Linda died in 1990 after a brave battle against leukaemie - she was 31 years old. As well as sharing their birthday, Tommy and Linda both loved to go out for a few drinks, a dance and a good laugh. They are both very much missed. This donation was raised from and Easter-themed game of 'Spot the Prize'. Thanks once again to friends at work and family for their continued support. Louise |
