In 1977 Roy Castle joined 500 other participants to perform the then largest tap dance at the BBC TV Centre, this September, 25 years since Roy Castle’s death we would love 500 tap dancers to join us in honouring this record with our very first National Tapathon Fundraiser.
Our National Tapathon will run on both Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th September and we are inviting dance schools across the country to take part. You can pick either date or both, with as little or as many tap dancers as possible, we want this event to be as flexible as possible and yours to personalise.
We are here to support you every step of the way, once you are registered we will send you your very own National Tapathon Fundraising Pack filled with handy tips to help make your Tapathon a success, as well as fundraising materials to kit out your weekend. Each supporter will then receive a certificate & medal to congratulate you on your dancing success.
So join us & take part in our National Tapathon event raising money for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. Your support will help us to raise awareness of lung cancer, provide support through specialist lung cancer nurses, information materials and support groups, and continue our vital research into early detection of this awful disease.
