How do you fancy taking on an unusual – and exhilarating – challenge to help the charity?
Zip World Velocity 2 offers you the chance to zoom through the air at speeds of up to 100mph!
Based at Penrhyn Slate Quarry, located near Bethesda in North Wales, it offers the option of taking on not just one, but two zip line challenges:
The Little Zipper is one of the three fastest zipwires in the UK, reaching speeds of up to 45 mph – and that’s pretty fast! But that’s just for starters – next comes the Big Zipper. Not only is this the longest zip line in Europe, it’s the fastest zip line in the world!
If you choose to take on this astounding challenge, you’ll descend through the quarry from 1,500ft, reaching speeds of up to 100mph and whizzing down the zip line for over a mile. It’s been described as the closest thing to flying!
Keen to take part? First of all, please contact the Zip World website directly to book your place(s). When you’ve decided the details of your zipwire challenge, we can help you set up ways to raise funds for us. Just speak to a member of our Fundraising Team on 0333 323 7200 or send us an email
