View all Research

We’re back at Westminster launching our latest report ‘Gaining Perspective: What Can The UK Learn From Lung Cancer Care in Europe’.

The UK’s current five year surivival rate for lung cancer is around 4% lower than the rest of Europe.

The paper has drawn on evidence from a number of European countries, providing recommendations for policymakers on several areas, including:

Lung cancer referral and diagnosis Prevention Access to treatment Lung cancer workforce

We urge policymakers to implement our recommendations to deliver the UKLCC’s aim to improve five year lung cancer surivival rates to 25% by 2025.
