Women and Lung Cancer

Every day, 44 women in the UK will die of lung cancer. This is more than breast & ovarian cancers combined.

According to a recent study, more young women will die of lung cancer this year than young men.

And yet still no one is really talking about it.

But we are!

This International Women's Day, we are raising awareness about women and lung cancer. We want people to know it is the biggest cancer killer in women - not breast cancer, not ovarian cancer but lung cancer. We want women to better understand the signs and symptoms of lung cancer so they have the best chance of beating this awful disease. We want women to know lung cancer can kill any woman.

In short, we want to stop other families going through what these families went through:

Lung cancer doesn't just affect the patient. It affects those left behind
