Roy Castle Ambassador

Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation ambassadors are enthusiastic individuals who take the time to build a strong knowledge of the charity and use this to gain support from individuals, community groups and schools in their local community.

The level of commitment is down to each ambassador; all we ask is that you hold at least one event in your local community that will help raise awareness. Other activities ambassadors tend to take part in are:

  • Representing the charity at cheque presentations in your local are
  • Spreading the word in your local community by hosting stalls at events and talking to the local media
  • Setting up your own fundraising group in your communtiy to host events to raise vital funds
  • Giving talks and presentations to schools, community groups and organisations
  • Researching local charity of the year opportunities in your area
  • Picking up collection cans in your local area and banking the money
  • Making contact with your local councillor and sharing the shocking statistics linked with lung cancer
