Spooky Welly Walk – St.Helens (Volunteering Opportunity)

Spooky Welly Walk St.Helens

Date of Event: Saturday 27th October

Location: Sherdley Park, WA9 3TW

Times and Dates: 11am - 5pm or half days of 11am – 2pm or 2pm – 5pm

Spooky Welly Walk is Merseyside’s biggest family Halloween event. Families dress up and take part in a 2 mile walk that last year included Creepy Crafts, Halloween Flash-mobs, Animal Displays and fairground rides - to name a few! In 2017 we attracted over 10,000 participants, parents and carers, and raised over £60,000 towards vital lung cancer research.

We are currently sourcing volunteers to steward the event and some of the activity stations. There are a range of roles that include registration, directing participants and handing out medals at the finish.

The event is always a fun day and an excuse to get outside! With your help we can make the event a success, while raising money for charity.
